In this step, you will set up information related to the residence tax branch office.

There is a list screen and a detail screen.

The list screen appears first.
On this screen, the following fields are shown in display mode:

  • Residence tax modifier
  • Residence tax modifier text

When you select a particular branch office, the detail screen appears.
On this screen, the following fields are displayed in update mode:

  • Residence tax modifier text, which will also be displayed on the list screen
  • Name and title of branch office, representative, his/her title
  • Branch office name
  • Address information such as country/region, region (Japanese prefecture), post code, and free format address
  • Telephone number, in free format.

Additionally, you will enter an internal identification number for the branch office that may have been used up to now when communicating with municipal office.

The residence tax modifier of the submitter is entered to define the branch office that submits payment report for your branch. For the submitting branch itself you enter it's own residence tax modifier.

In the two reference number fields you will enter the numbers determined by the tax office for submitting payment report via data media (Disk). This is only necessary if tax statement is submitted via data media to tax office and the reference numbers are already issued.

The entries in the standard system are only samples.

  1. Check the SAP sample entries.
  2. Delete entries that are not required.
  3. Create new entries according to your requirements.

  • When there is only one entry set up, the list screen is bypassed, and the detail screen for this entry is displayed directly.
  • Double clicking a line on the list screen will lead you to the detail screen.
  • Saving your entries in the detail screen will bring you back to the list screen.
