In this step, you will set up information related to the income tax branch office.

There is a list screen and a detailed screen.

You will see the list screen first.
On this screen the following fields are shown in display mode:

  • Income Tax Modifier
  • Income Tax Modifier Text
  • Income Tax Modifier of Submitting Branch Office

When you select a particular branch office the detailed screen is displayed.
On this screen you maintain name and address information of the branch office. The information is used when reporting to the tax office.
The following fields are displayed in update mode:

  • Income tax modifier text, which is used for ease of identification.
  • Name and title of the representative person of the branch office.
  • Branch office name.
  • Address information such as country/region, region (Japanese prefecture), postal code and address.
  • Telephone number, in free format.

Additionally, you will enter an internal identification number for the branch office that may have been used up to now when communicating with the tax office. You will fill in the residence tax modifier if you do not use internal identification numbers.

In the two reference number fields you will enter the numbers determined by the tax office.

The income tax modifier of the submitter is entered to define the branch office that submits tax statements for your branch. For the submitting branch itself you enter it's own residence tax modifier.

The entries in the standard system are only samples.

  1. Check the SAP sample entries.
  2. Delete entries that are not required.
  3. Create new entries according to your requirements.

  • When there is only one entry set up, the list screen is bypassed, and the detail screen for this entry is directly displayed.
  • Double-clicking a line on the list screen, will lead you to the detail screen.
  • Saving your entries in the detail screen, will bring you back to the list screen.
