In this step, you confirm if the adjustment for SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation result is executed between Health Insurance and Employee's Pension when the SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation results are different from each other.
For example, there is an employee whose Health Insurance is evaluated as GEPPEN and Employee's Pension is not evaluated as GEPPEN because he/she is at the highest compensation grade of Employee's Pension. Some social insurance offices, especially when your Health Insurance is government-managed, instruct to submit GEPPEN form for Employee's Pension in accordance with Health Insurance for such cases. If so, you can use this functionality. Otherwise, you do not need to make any settings here.

SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation results of Health Insurance/Employee's Pension are copied from one to the other when one of the following criteria is fulfilled;

  • One is GEPPEN while the other is SANTEI
  • One is GEPPEN while the other is Geppen candidate
  • One is GEPPEN while the other is candidate of Geppen at the termination of parental leave
  • One is GEPPEN while the other is not changed
  • One is Geppen candidate while the other is SANTEI
  • One is Geppen candidate of September while the other is Geppen candidate of August
  • One is Geppen candidate while the other is candidate of Geppen at the termination of parental leave
  • One is candidate of Geppen at the termination of parental leave while the other is SANTEI.
  • One is candidate of Geppen at the termination of parental leave while the other is not changed.

In the standard settings, this functionality is deactivated.

If you want to use this functionality in SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation, change the standard schema JSOC as follows;

  1. Remove the commented out (*) in the line of the function JPSGT ( 2 places ).
  2. Remove the commented out (*) in the following three lines after second "EXPORT GJ" command.

    IF JCHE
    EXPRT GJ
    ENDIF

In standard setting of the rule JCHE, this functionality is executed for all social insurance modifiers. If you want to change the setting, follow the steps below;

  1. Copy the standard rule JCHE to ZCHE.
  2. Make necessary settings in ZCHE.

    In case you do not want to activate the functionality for the social
    insurance modifier '01' :

    VarKey NL T Operation Operation Operation Operation Operation

    D TABLESGT VARGBSCIMF
    ** D JPCHE
    ** * SCOND=F IF
    ** X SCOND=T IF
    01 SCOND=F IF
  3. Replace the rule JCHE with ZCHE in the standard schema
    JSOC.

In case you use fields in the field catalog SGT as decision criteria, you have to note that it has SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation result of Employee's Pension when the rule is called. Instead, you can also use the field catalog SGTHI which is SANTEI/GEPPEN evaluation result of Health Insurance, or SGTEP which is for Employee's Pension. Both SGTHI and SGTEP have the same fields as SGT.
