In this Customizing activity, you assign a message from the system message class to the status of the E-HR entry. Creation of that link ensures that if a message occurs during the processing of the E-HR entry, the status of such an entry is set to a value that is linked to that message.

For example, during document processing, there can be issues which result in processing status "Failed to Prepare". You can group error messages by the processing status and determine the type of error by processing status.
