This chapter describes how to define loan type conditions [leningsoortcondities] for repayments and interest percentages with reference to loans granted to personnel.

The standard examples are: loans with fixed repayment installments [lening met vaste aflossing] (taxed and tax-exempt), annuity loans and private PC loans.

  • The loan condition must be created
  • The payment type must be assigned

The SAP standard delivery includes several examples for loans granted to personnel

Decide which SAP standard example most closely resembles the loan concerned.

  1. Use the function Createor Copy as....
  2. Create a loan type and define a period valid for the loan condition.
  3. In field Loan Condition enter a combination of two characters and a description for loan condition.
  4. In field Interest Percentage enter the interest percentage applicable to the employee.
  5. If it is necessary to calculate an interest gain for the loans, you must enter a reference rate of interest in field Reference rate. The field Interest Gain should also be selected. If these conditions are met, the interest gain is processed as 'Wage in Kind'.
  6. In field Period Parameter you can enter the payroll period. If you have a monthly payroll run, the period parameter "01/Monthly" should be entered.
  7. Determine the interest and repayment period for the loan with interest repayment. Determine the first period and the time to the following period.
  8. The fields that control period and time to following annuity period only become visible with option New Entry. If necessary, determine the correct periods and enter the correct values using the above option.
  9. Save your data.
