OHIPT_SE005 - Define maximum values of seniority bases

Seniority bonus valuation bases are often, due to company policies, limited to a certain amount. This step allows you to enforce these restrictions.

In a company, a certain group of employees earns a seniority bonus worth 2% of their basic pay, for every 3 years in the company. Also, in this company, the seniority base is limited to 1250 EUR.

This means that, even though an employee earns 1500 EUR, his allowance will only be calculated on a basis of 1250 EUR.

This way, an employee who has been 7 years with the company and earns 1500 EUR per month will receive 4% of 1250 EUR, or 50 EUR, as seniority bonus.

You have created pay scales.

The model pay scales provided in the SAP R/3 standard system have entries representing these limits.

For every pay scale type/area and for every ES grouping for collective agreement provision, define the amount for both Seniority valuation bases, i.e. wage types /621 and /622.

Even if the company does not impose any limits, you have to enter 999.999.999 as the amount.
