OHIRAW001 - Maintain award types

In this step you create the award types you want to use in infotype 0183. To do this, you define the amount to be paid and which wage type is to be used for the payment of an award.

Note that this wage type must be elegible for entry in infotype Additional payments (0015), since creating a payroll relevant award in infotype 0183 initiates the creation of a data set in infotype 0015 which contains the award wage type as the additional payment.

The SAP standard delivery system contains sample entries. If you want to use these, you first must copy them from client 000 since the table in which they are stored possesses delivery class C.

To create a new award type, proceed as follows:

1. Select New entries.
2. Define the validity period.
3. Enter a four digit, alphanumerical key for the award type.
4. Enter a short description.
5. Specify whether the award type is relevant to payroll processing.
6. Enter the wage type to be used for the payment of the award.
   If the award is not relevant to payroll you need not specify a wage type.
7. Enter the amount to be paid.
8. Save your entries.
