In this IMG activity, you enter parameters to control the following functions:

  • Change the way in which the system handles new entries that you make in the Education infotype (0022)
  • Determine which version of OKSO data that you enter in the Education infotype is the most up-to-date
  • Ensure that the system reads OKSO data that you upload correctly

You can enter the following parameters for the program MP002200:

Parameter Name Function
INSERT If you enter an OKSO code that does not exist in the IMG activity Set Up OKSO Data, to call the IMG activity so you can enter the OKSO code in the system, enter X. See also parameter VERSION below.
INSERT_SCHOOL If you enter a school that does not exist in the IMG activity Enter Schools and Colleges, to call the IMG activity so that you can enter the new school or college, enter X.
VERSIONAAA AAA denotes the version number that you enter when you upload OKSO data using the IMG activity Load OKSO Data or if you change OKSO data manually in the IMG activity Set Up OKSO Data.
If your OKSO codes for version AAA are in the 1993 format that comprises eight digits, leave the Parameter Value field blank.
If your OKSO codes for version AAA are in the 2003 format that comprises a 6-digit OKSO code plus a 2-digit qualification code, enter parameter value X.
If your OKSO codes for version AAA are in the 2016 format that comprises a 7-digit OKSO code, enter parameter value Y
AAA must contain only digits.
VERSION Enter the current version number under which you store OKSO codes that you enter manually in the Education infotype: if you want to enter OKSO codes that do not exist in your system, you must enter X for the INSERT and enter the version number under which you want to save the new OKSO code in the IMG activity Set Up OKSO Data.

If you upload OKSO data using the IMG activity Load OKSO Data, you use the following parameters for program HRUUT7RUOKSO to determine which position in the file (number of characters from the left) the various parts of the OKSO system are located:
