OHIRURP_PA_ST_CON_01 - Convert Subtype Records in Personnel Orders Infotype

In this Customizing activity, you convert records of subtypes in the Personnel Orders (0298) infotype to records of different subtypes.

You use the target subtypes to better control the records in the Personnel Orders (0298) infotype. For example, you can create your own, customer-specific subtype to store data related to a single document type, rather than using a generic subtype for all document types.

You have made the following settings:

• You have created the required subtypes.

• You have assigned subtypes to document types in Customizing for Payroll Russia, under Reporting -> Personnel Administration -> Personnel Order Management -> Assign Subtypes in Personnel Orders Infotype to Document Types.

1. Specify the source and target subtypes.
   The source and target subtypes must be assigned to the same document type.
2. To restrict the number of records that the report selects, you can specify an action type that you used to create the existing records in the source subtypes.
3. If required, you can perform a test run, which causes the report to perform the following steps:

• Determine how many records the report is going to convert

• Check whether all personnel assignments whose records the report is going to convert are not locked

1. Run the report.
   The output screen shows the number of records that the report processes.
