In this IMG activity, you enter parameters to influence how the Package Manager report works.

You can enter the following parameters for program PACKMAN:

  • FIELDS_CATALOG
Determines which field catalog the system uses to display fields in the Package Manager.
In the standard system, the system displays the fields in the field catalog structure PRU_PKMN_FIELDS_CATALOG.
To add fields to the Package Manager, you first add the fields to the customer include in structure PRU_PFR_PACKAGE, then add the fields as attributes to the DMS package class, HR_RU_PACK_V (in DMS model HR_RU_PF), and then create a corresponding field catalog structure that contains both the standard fields and your additional fields. Finally, you enter the name of your field catalog structure as the parameter value for the parameter FIELDS_CATALOG.

You can use the following three parameters to define a hierarchy within the Package Manager, based on the package properties. You can enter any field name in the field catalog structure as the paramter value:
  • ALV_LEVEL1
The parameter value determines which field is appears on the first level in the hierarchy.
  • ALV_LEVEL2
The parameter value determines which field is appears on the second level in the hierarchy.
  • ALV_LEVEL3
The parameter value determines which field is appears on the third level in the hierarchy.
  • CLASS_MESSAGE
Shows the ABAP class that the Package Manager uses to process messages, for example, CL_HRPADRU_MESSAGE. You can also create your own class based on the class that is shipped as standard.
  • CLASS_PACKAGE
Shows the ABAP class that the Package Manager uses to process packages, for example, CL_HRPADRU_PACKAGE. You can also create your own class based on the class that is shipped as standard.
  • IN_REPORTS
You use this parameter to activate the Package Manager functions inside reports that prepare data for the Pension Fund. If you enter parameter value X, the Package Manager functions are active.
  • PFR_SUBTY
If you enter parameter value 802, the Package Manager gets the employee's pension insurance certificate number from the subtype in the Documents and Certificates subtype that stores this number.
  • VERSION
Determines the version of the Package Manager report.
If you enter parameter value 1, the pension reports prepare data in the old format that uses the old report (HRUUPKM0).
If you enter parameter value 2, the pension reports use the new report, that is, HRUUPKM1.
