In this Customizing activity, you determine whether the reports that select periods of vacation to determine the average vacation pay for employees use the Absence Link for Average field in the Absences (2001) infotype.

If you do not choose the Absence Link for Average method, the report links periods of vacation as follows:

  1. Checks whether a second period of vacation begins immediately after the initial period ends
  2. If there is a second period, the report checks if there is an additional personnel order for the second period of vacation
    If there is not a second personnel order for the second period of vacation, the report links together the two periods of vacation.

You use this Customizing activity to influence the following reports that generate the following forms:

  • Form T-6(a)
  • Form T-60
  • Form T-2
  • Form T-54a

For HCM localization Russia (33), field SPPE1, determine whether you want the above reports to use the Absence Link for Average (SPPE1) field in the Absences (2001) infotype.
