OHIU01070 - Review EEO ethnic origin categories

In this Customizing activity, you review the categories of ethnic origin to be used within your jurisdiction for EEO-1 and EO Survey reporting purposes. If necessary, you may add new categories in this step to supplement the original ones.

When you execute this activity, you edit table view Ethnic Origin (V_T505R). The entries in this table view are displayed as entry help in the Ethnic origin (RACKY) field in the Additional Information (0077) infotype.

Note

This activity is only relevant for you if you use the Ethnic origin (RACKY) field in the Additional Information (0077) infotype. If you do not use that field, and use the new Ethnicity(ETHEN) field instead, disregard this Customizing activity.

To execute EEO-1 or EO Survey Reporting in the standard system using the Ethnic origin (RACKY) field, you must use the pre-defined values and categories of ethnic origin found in this activity. However, if your jurisdiction allows additional ethnic categories for other purposes, then you may add those categories in this activity.

1. Execute this activity.
2. Review the pre-defined categories of ethnic origin.
3. Enter any additional categories your enterprise may require.
4. Save any changes you have made, and exit the transaction.
5. If you make changes in this activity, adapt the EEOCL feature accordingly in Customizing activity Modify and generate features for U.S. compliance reports.
