OHIUSNAICS100 - Maintain North American Industry Classifications

In this step, you can add and assign the appropriate North American Industry Classification Systen (NAICS) code to your system. These are six digit codes that have replaced the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system codes.

NAICS was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America.

No NAICS codes are delivered in the SAP system. To add these codes, proceed as follows:

1. Execute the IMG activity.
2. Select the New Entries button and enter the NAICS code(s) that apply to your enterprise in the table T5UNC.
3. Save your enries.

Examples of these codes are:
