OHIW4150 - Maintain Medical Aid Insurances

You can maintain the following attributes to medical aid insurance: Company, Scheme, Payment Model Assignment, and Contribution.

These attributes have been designed in a cascading format, in which you process medical aid information as specified in the above order. This allows you to efficiently maintain the relevant data for each individual medical aid company.

Default Settings

The system contains model entries that you can copy to create your own entries.

Procedure

To maintain medical aid information in the system:

  1. Choose 'Company'.
  2. Choose 'Scheme' to access the schemes valid for the specific insurance company, as specified in the previous step.
  3. Choose 'Payment Model' to access the valid payment models available to calculate the contribution for non-monthly paid employees.
  4. Choose 'Contribution' to access the contribution table (which is based on salary ranges).

On each screen, use 'Details' to access the detailed information relevant for the step.
