OHIW8003 - Maintain account number characteristics

You maintain bank account characteristics. The system checks data entered in this table, against bank account data entered in 'Bank Details' (0009) and 'External Bank Transfers' (0011).

You must comply with bank type recognition guidelines as specified by ACB (see Appendix E of the User Manual).

The system has been set up with sample entries that you can copy.

1. Copy an existing bank in the system.
2. Complete the relevant information for the bank.

This is an optional activity. A characteristic check will only be performed for banks maintained in this table. Input in this table is not a mandatory activity for performing a CDV check.
