OHIX0242 - Create units of time/measurement

In this step, you can determine the units to be used as data or operands in Personnel Administration.

• You want to record in the Basic Pay infotype that an employee is assigned a wage type whose value is a percentage of another wage type belonging to this infotype.
  In this sense, the term "percentage" is a unit of time/measurement.

• When entering a certain wage type, you want the system to indicate whether you are entering "days" or "hours".

• When calculating periods, you want the system to indicate whether the periods you enter are in "months" or "years".

Find out which units of time/measurement your company uses.

Do not change the standard system settings. Some units of time/measurement have a preset meaning in programs.

1. Check to see whether the standard SAP entries fulfil your requirements.
2. If necessary, create new entries.
   
   

Note: In the ME field (internal unit of measurement), you can assign the HR unit to an SAP unit.

These units of time/measurement may also be queried by Payroll and can thus affect the payroll run.
