SAP E-Book

In this section, you can set up the requirements for increasing the basic pay total by an absolute amount on the basis of the employee pay scale structure, i.e. pay scale type and area, employee subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provision, pay scale group and level (variant G).

When the system increases the standard pay, it calculates the previous basic pay total and stores the difference between this value and absolute amount to which the total basic pay should be increased in a new wage type. A new infotype record with this new wage type is then created for these employees.

You want all employees within certain pay scale structure to have a total basic pay of at least $ 5000.

The wage type that is to be created must be defined.

You should are familiar with the collective agreements valid in your company.

The SAP standard system contains several model standard agreements.

  1. In the Collective agreement provision grpg. field, enter the subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provision for each pay scale group and area.
  2. Define the pay scale group and level for which the standard pay is to be increased.
  3. Specify the date on which standard pay increase is to become effective.
  4. Enter increase variant G.
  5. In Wage type field of the detail screen, enter ****.
  6. In the Reference wage type field, enter the wage type in which the difference should be stored.
  7. Enter the amount to which the total basic pay should be adjusted.
  8. Define how the amount is to be rounded.
