OHIX0305 - Group personnel subareas for premiums
PERFORM Short Reference CPI1466 during BackupThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
You can use a premium to award extra pay to your employees for particular working conditions or on a performance-related basis.
Premiums are assigned by entering a different rate of payment in the following infotypes:
- Employee Remuneration Information (2010)
- Attendances (2001)
- Substitutions (2003)
- Availability (2004)
- Overtime (2005)
In this step, you can define personnel area and subarea groupings and assign values or regulations for calculating premiums to the
different groupings.
The correct premium is selected in Payroll via the personnel subarea grouping for premiums.
You have three personnel subareas. You want it to be possible to enter a premium for wage type "4711" in all three personnel subareas.
In the first two personnel subareas, the same value per hour should be paid for the same premium indicator. A different value should be paid for the same premium indicator in the third personnel subarea.
The grouping "01" is assigned to the first two personnel subareas, and "02" to the third personnel subarea.
Find out which premiums are used in your various personnel subareas.
Determine which premiums should be remunerated at the same rate in different personnel subareas.
Assign your existing personnel subareas to a grouping for premiums.
Group your personnel subareas accordingly.
If all your personnel subareas use the same rate of remuneration for premiums, group them under "01".
