When you create infotype records, many of the default values are determined from features or tables.

When you copy infotype records, the values are usually copied from the previous record. The default values are not redetermined.

In this step, you can define whether the default values are to be redetermined when certain infotype records are copied.

You can define whether default values from personnel development (PD) are to be used for organizational assignments when copying the infotype Actions (0000).

  • Infotype Organizational Assignment (0001)
    Default value for payroll area
  • Infotype Planned Working Time (0007)
Default value for work schedule rule
  • Infotype Basic Pay (0008)
Default values for pay scale type and area

In the standard SAP system all the default values are taken from the previous record when you copy an infotype record.

Maintain the feature 'Default Values for Infotype' (DFINF)

Specify whether the default values are to be redetermined for each infotype (return code = 'X').

The use of PD default values for organizational assignments in the infotype Actions is only possible where there is active integration with personnel planning (PD).
