This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used to destroy data for the component Time Management. You can use this BAdI to create data at the end of the data destruction process alternatively, provided this is required to ensure data consistency.

In the standard SAP system, this is then used if replacement absences are created for position management and Organizational Management after absences have been destroyed, for example.

The BAdI is called in the delete program of an archiving object after the data has been destroyed. The data is created at the end of a data destruction session. Only create an implementation if this is necessary for data consistency reasons.

There is no sample implementation for this BAdI. The BAdI can be used multiple times and is a filter BAdI. The BAdI uses the parameter OBJ_NAME = <name of archiving object> as a filter.

For more information about the default settings, see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

The following BAdI implementations are available in the standard SAP system:

  • HRTIM_ABS_DATA_CREATER
  • HRTIM_MAT_DATA_CREATER
  • HRTIM_MIL_DATA_CREATER

For information about how to implement BAdIs in the Enhancement Framework, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver Platform on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/nw_platform. Choose a release and then Application Help. In SAP Library, choose SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server ABAP -> Application Development in AS ABAP -> ABAP Customer Development -> Enhancement Framework.
