OHIX_DP_PREWRI_PEST - Create Process Models for Archiving Objects with Preprocessing Program

In this Customizing activity, you can create a process model with which you can define the processing steps for data destruction.

This offers you the following advantages:

• Graphical overview of the processing steps

• Capability of programs to run in parallel

• Simple repetition of processes

In this work step, you specify at least one process model.

Recommendation

Copy the SAP process model SAPXXDP1 and adapt it to your company requirements.

Establish an overview of the functioning and technical prerequisites of transactions PEST (Maintenance of process model) and PUST (Call HR process workbench).

For information about the process models, see SAP Library under Payroll in a Background Operation-> HR Process Workbench -> Maintenance of Process Models.

SAP ships process model SAPXXDP1 as a sample.

1. Perform the Customizing activity.
2. Copy the model SAPXXDP1.
3. Specify an identifier for the new model.
4. Choose Change.
5. Adapt the settings to your requirements. When doing so, refer to the documentation of the sample model shipped.
6. Choose Activate.

Additional Notes

Note that the model identifiers of your customer-specific process models must start with a number between 0 and 9 or with Z.

You can start the process models using transaction PUST.
