OHIX_DP_TIMEDEP_AUTH - Overview

Users can access HR data as a result of their direct or structural authorizations. However, if the data is no longer actively used, it might be necessary to protect it from further access. This is the case when you no longer require the data for business purposes but cannot destroy it for other reasons.

A block can be made at two levels:

1. You can block access at the level of a personnel number.

Example: After an employee leaves the company, their data is no longer required to fulfill the original purpose after all processes have been completed (such as payroll processes).

1. You can block access to data in the past (time-dependent authorization).

Example: For active employees, infotype data that is older than five years is no longer required.
