This IMG activity serves to illustrate to you the settings made by SAP. You create customer settings in the IMG activity Customer: Configure Screen Structure Text Fields.
In this IMG activity you define the assignment of value fields to screen structure text fields. This assignment means the system automatically supplies the specified text field with the text belonging to the value field.
- A screen structure must exist for the infotype.
- The screen structure must be configured in the Assign Screen Structure and Conversion Class IMG activity.
- Specify the work area. Enter the name of the screen structure (table name) for which you want to define the assignment of value fields to text fields.
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the name of the text field.
- Enter the name of the structure which contains the related value field:
- This value field is generally also contained in the screen structure. In this case, enter the (identical) name of the screen structure.
- If the value field does not exist in the screen structure, it must exist in the P structure. In this case, enter the name of the P structure (Pnnnn).
- In both cases, the value field must belong to the same infotype. This means that it is not permitted to make multiple-infotype assignments between text fields and value fields.
- Enter the name of the value field.
- The value field must be part of the previously specified structure.
