OHPKBE020 - Maintain profiles

In this IMG activity, you maintain the different authorization profiles which define the authorizations of individual users. Profiles contain authorization objects for delimited working areas with corresponding authorizations. You should specify the authorization profile for a user in the user master record.

An example of a general profile which includes all authorizations for the entry of trip data has already been created in the standard system.

P_CH_ALL,, HR: General authorizations for CH

If you define your own profiles, the descriptions should start with the letters Y or Z since in the standard system these name ranges are reserved for the customer.

1. Check the standard profiles.
2. If these profiles are not sufficient, you should define new profiles for the individual user groups according to your requirements. To do this, refer to the standard sample profiles.
3. Group the authorizations together into one profile.
4. Save the profile.
5. Activate the profile.
