The date type is used only for employees with 457 savings plans.
In this step, you define a date type that is to use in recording the date an employee reaches his/her normal retirement age on the Date Specifications infotype (0041).
SAP delivers date type NR for the normal retirement age as the default. If your organization wants to use it then you don't have to create another date type for this purpose.
The date indicator of a date type must be 52to be a normal retirement age date type.
