OIG_GAIN_LOSS_NB_UOM - BAdI: Information about Gains and Losses in Non-Base UoM

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Transportation and Distribution (IS-OIL-DS-TD) component.

You can use this BAdI to obtain gain and loss quantities for materials, using the additional quantity appendices (Quantity Conversion Interface - QCI). The BAdI interface includes the quantity balance for all units of measure in the unit of measure group for the material concerned.

The BAdI provides the information automatically if load and discharge quantities do not balance in the non-stockkeeping unit of measure. In that case, the system does not create a gain or loss posting for the on-board material concerned (general QCI restriction for movement types for gains and losses).

The BAdI is only called for a material on a vehicle if there is no gain or loss in the stockkeeping unit of measure, but in at least one of the additional units of measure.

• In the standard system, the BAdI is not activated.

• The BAdI is designed for multiple use.

• The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
