In this Customizing activity, you can copy statements or delete existing statements.

When you start the report, copy mode is activated. To switch between copy mode and delete mode, choose the key at the bottom edge of the selection box, which has the text Go to Delete Mode or Go to Copy Mode, depending on the status.

Start the report with the desired parameters.

Copying statements

  • Source Statement ID:
Enter the statement that you want to copy. The statement name is displayed after you confirm your entry.
  • Language:
This selection determines which language version of the statement is copied. You can enter either exactly one language or, from the initial entry in the list, all language versions of this statement.
  • Form Name:
Not an input field. The form name is determined on the basis of the source statement ID. The form name denotes the saved SAPscript form.
  • Target ID/New Title:
The target ID is the ID of the new statement that you are copying to. It must be within the relevant namespace. The new title is proposed, but can be changed.
  • Target Form:
The name of the new form that you are copying to. This must not exist yet. The target form must also be within the relevant namespace.
  • Execute as Test Run:
If this option is selected, the data to be written is only displayed; it is not actually written to the database. If this function is deactivated, the operations are performed.
  • Write Log:
To display a log. In the test run, a log is always written, regardless of this selection.

Deleting statements

  • Statement ID:
Enter the ID of the statement that you want to delete.
  • Form Name:
Not an input field. The form name is determined on the basis of the statement ID entered. The form name denotes the saved SAPscript form.
  • Write Log:
    To display a log.

To ensure efficient use of the report, it is useful in copy mode to first enter the source statement ID and the target ID and then confirm these entries. After this, you can use the proposed values to make your other selections.
