In this Customizing activity, you can specify how the system is to respond to overlaps in infotype records specifically when comparing sick leave certificates.

If there are complex conflicts, particularly in relation to the Convert and Adjust functions, the system attempts to add new records for subperiods to the infotype Absences (2001), even though an IT 2001 record already exists. The existing record must be deleted for the subperiod in question, although it is to continue to exist for other periods.

Delimiting the period through insertion in this way is a standard function, the behavior of which depends on the Customizing in view V_T554Y.

Table T554Y is a matrix that controls the various responses to collisions between new and existing records. The table controls the collision behavior for all time management infotypes (for more information, see Customizing for Personnel Time Management under Time Data Recording and Administration -> Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes).

An alternative to adjusting view V_T554Y is a modification of the collision check specifically for the Compare Absences (IT 2001) ELDA Sick Leave (RPCSKBA0_MAT) report. If subapplication KBKO is active, the reaction indicator is set to A (Delimit) for all absence types exclusively for the comparison report. Then system then proceeds in the same way as though reaction indicator A were maintained in table T554Y for all absence types involved.

You have imported SAP Note 1665298 HRTIM: Country/Region-Specific Reaction for FUGR.

To activate subapplication KBKO, change the valid-from date for this entry to 01.01.1900.
