PAY_AT_FREI_000 - Releases from Work - Overview

An employer can agree to release an employee from work for educational part-time/educational leave or care part-time/care leave. The employee receives payments from the AMS during this time:

• For leave, the employee is paid the amount of notional unemployment benefit during the release from work.

• For part-time leave, the employee is only released part-time, which means he or she is still paid a portion of salary and is paid a part-time benefit by the AMS in addition.

You store the information that the system requires to run payroll correctly in infotype Release from Work A (3347). In this infotype, you specify the type of release from work as well as the extent to which the working hours are reduced.
