PAY_AT_NAUS_021 - Specify Validity for Subapplication UEKV

By activating the subapplication UEKV, you can make the following functions available in your system:

  • The information on pay in lieu of notice in the Payment Upon Leaving A (0527) infotype is evaluated in payroll.
  • The information on comparison payments or additional pay in lieu of notice in the Payment After Leaving A (3238) infotype is evaluated in payroll.

SI contributions are always deducted from pay in lieu of notice before payment in lieu of unused leave.

If you activate the subapplication, retroactive accounting my occur under certain circumstances: The system triggers retroactive accounting for all employees who have already left before the validity start of the subapplication but who are still socially insured beyond the validity date due to a compensation payment.

In the standard SAP system, the following subapplication in client 000 is available as a sample entry exclusively in client 000 with the following validity start:

  1. Access the activity.
  2. In the Validity Interval for Statutory Subapplications view, adjust the validity start for the entry UEKV (UE/KUE and Comparison Sums (IT 0527 & IT 3238)).

Note:
The subapplication I52R is not required for the new solution. If you are using an average calculation activated by this subapplication, you need to check your schema accordingly. The subapplication I52R activates the schema AT1R in the standard SAP schema AT10.

If you are not using the average calculation, we recommend that you do not activate it.

The subapplication I527 is the filter value of view V_5A9C_A (Payment Characteristics IT0527 for Payroll) and is used in the maintenance dialog as a fixed key in tables T5A9B and T5A9C. The subapplication is used solely for technical purposes and cannot switch any functions on or off.
