In this Customizing activity, you check whether the existing assignment of wage types to the required cumulation wage types meets your requirements.

The system uses these cumulation wage types to create default values for the taxation of statutory severance pay in the Payment Upon Leaving A infotype (0527). The default values are only relevant for taxation based on the quotient or multiplier method.

  1. Select subapplication I527.
  2. For the following cumulation wage types, check whether the assignment of wage types meets your requirements:
  • ABMT (Monthly deductions)

  • ABST (Regular, tax-exempt)

  • ABSV (Notional SI contribution)

  • ABSZ (Portion of the special payment)

  • ABYE (Annual deduction from gross tax amount)

  • ABYN (Annual deduction from the tax)

  1. If necessary, change the assignment to meet your requirements.
