PAY_AT_OZ_119 - Check Municipality Numbers and Postal Codes

In this step, you check the municipality numbers, municipality codes,
municipality status, and postal codes. This data is required for the payment of municipal taxes.

The source of the data stored in the standard system is the overview of municipalities provided by the Austrian Federal Office on Statistics in Vienna.

1. Perform this activity.

You reach the Municipality view.

1. Check the entries for the municipality code, name, number (MunNo field), and status (Mncpl Sts field). In most cases, no changes are necessary.
2. Some municipalities have multiple postal codes (such as Vienna). Check the postal codes for these municipalities:
1. Select the entry with the municipality code you want to check.
2. Choose the Postal Codes of Municipality view.
3. Check the postal codes specified. For the postal code of the municipal office, the MOffPCd checkbox is selected. In most cases, no changes are necessary.

To update the data in the system, you can use the Report for Updating Municipality Tables (RPU5A2G_NEWA0).).
