In this IMG activity, you define the values of the following rates and factor used in leave liability and leave provision calculations:

  • Bond rate
  • Escalation rate
  • Inflation rate
  • Probability factor for long service leave

You define the rates and the factor, and assign them to the relevant company codes and constant types.

  1. Select New Entries.
  2. Choose the required Company Code.
  3. Enter the constant type you want to maintain, in the Konst Type field.
  4. Choose the constant to which you want to assign a rate or factor, in the Constantfield.
If you want to maintain all constants related to a rate or factor, for example, Bond, with the same value:
  1. Choose the constant BND**.
  2. Assign the value to this constant in the Valuefield. All the related constants from BND01 to BND11 will store the same value.
If you want to maintain constants related to a factor, for example, Bond, with different values:
  1. Choose the constant, for example, BND01.
  2. Assign the value to this constant.
Warning
In case you do not maintain values of constants related to a factor in this table, system reads Payroll Constantstable view (V_T511K) for the same. But if you maintain even a single constant related to a factor here, system reads only this table and does not check Payroll Constants table view (V_T511K) for the values of the remaining constants.
  1. Enter the validity period for the value of the constant. The text for the constant is defaulted in the Textfield.
  2. Save your entries.
