The checksum is a hash key generated based on the fields that have been identified as relevant for an update. It is stored in the CHKSU field of the B2A Follow-Up Actions (3331) infotype.

The checksum is used as a reference value to detect if a declaration has changed. If any of the values used when generating the checksum has changed, then the checksum value is different, which indicates that the content of the declaration has changed.

For scenarios AL01 (Allowances - Incapacity) and UN05 (Unemployment - Temporary) the fields used for the checksum are customized and delivered by SAP. You only maintain view V_T5BRE if you have your own scenarios.

You have maintained the activation validity date for switch SRD 00007 in view V_T5F99VD.

If you have any customer-specific scenarios, select the required fields in this Customizing activity and save your changes.

Note:

If you select fields that always change (for example, the sequential number) an update is always triggered.
