SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you can activate the following changes in the personal calendar:

  • PCAL,,,,00000001 (Storing the last 4 digits of field CNT_DAYS in the cluster PC)
This switch allows you to store the last 4 digits (instead of 3) of field CNT_DAYS in the cluster PC. This is relevant for very long illness periods, from over 999 days.
Note:
The activation of the changes with this switch can lead to cluster table changes in the past and can therefore lead to retroactive calculations in the payroll.
For more information, see SAP Note 1980398.
  • PCAL,,,,00000002 (Storing content of field CNT_DAYS in field SEQNO for non-unicode systems)
This switch allows you, for non-unicode systems, to copy the content of field CNT_DAYS to the unused field SEQNO in the cluster PC.
Note:
The activation of the changes with this switch can lead to cluster table changes in the past and can therefore lead to retroactive calculations in the payroll.
For more information, see SAP Note 242407.
  • PCAL,,,,00000003 (Use RPI customizing from day 366th and later)
This switch allows you to use the customizing for RPI (in table T5BP4) even if the RPI period is longer than 365 days.
For more information, see SAP Note 2565439.
  • PCAL,,,,00000004 (Deactivate the "3 months 30 days" rule)
This switch allows you to deactivate the "3 months 30 days" rule (3m30d) after invalidity for illness and accidents. According to the 3m30d rule, the first year of illness for employees (blue or white collar) is paid by the company and by the health insurance. After one year of illness, the employee is in invalidity period. If during the first three months after an illness of one year or more a new illness (not being a prolongation) occurs, then this new illness is treated as invalidity, which means that the first month is paid like a normal illness but after these first 30 days the employee is in invalidity (employee receives no payment).
Enter the start date as of which you want to deactivate the 3m30d rule. This start date is evaluated with the start date of the absence period.
Note:
The deactivation of the rule in the past, can lead to a different personal calendar and to retroactive calculations in the payroll.
For more information, see SAP Note 2607522.
