PAY_BG_DED_010 - Calculate Bases for Required Amount

In this activity you define how the required amount for an external deduction should be calculated. This step is only relevant for wage types that are processed by payroll operationBGEDE (processing class 64, specification value A).

The required amount can be calculated as percentage of a basis (this basis is a wage type that exists in the IT or RT table).

The standard system contains template settings.

1. Copy or create records connecting the wage type entered in infotype External Transfers (0011) (field LGART), the payee key (not mandatory) and the basis (field BASLG).
2. Select the checkbox Retro if the changes in the bases should be taken into account. This checkbox is only relevant for the basis wage types assigned to processing class 61 and value 1 (that is, if the influx is calculated by the payroll schema).
3. Specify the percentage of the basis in the field % Rate.
4. Save your entries.
