PAY_BG_KF_002 - Assign Reduction Factors

In this step, you specify the factor by which a wage type is to be reduced, if this is required. This applies to wage types that are recorded using infotypes Basic Pay (0008) or Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014).

The specification is performed by processing class 10.

Reduced wage types have to exist in the IT table at the moment of reduction (schema BGAL).

Values 0-9 of processing class 10 are identical to the international standard: value A is identical to value 0 (use of factor /801) but, additionally, the field NUM of the wage type is filled by the number of normative days of a particular partial period. This is usefull if you want these days to be displayed on the payslip for the „Basic pay“ or similar wage types.

1. Check which wage types are entered using the infotypes Basic Pay (0008) or Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014).
2. Enter the required specification for processing class 10.
