PAY_BG_MAL_030 - Configure Meals Allowance Calculation

The meals allowance calculation is performed in functionBGFAL. Wage types in table IT are read and if they appear in customizing table T7BGF1 (Meals Allowance), they are processed accordingly.

The wage types for meals allowance exist in IT table, for example. after being read from infotype Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014).

The standard system contains examples of meals allowance calculation.

• Create records for the wage types you want to use for meals allowance in the customizing table and assign the Meal Allowance Type that defines the algorithm of calculation.

• If the amount calculated exceeds the statutory limit (constant FALLM recalculated to normative days), the overlimit part is stored in a wage type that you have to enter in the field Meals allowances - Over limit wage type (FAOVL).
