PAY_BR_EFD18 - Specify external cockpit use

In this customizing activity, you activate the use of an external cockpit in the system to monitor the eSocial events generated by the system. For this functionality, SAP provides the standard report eSocial: Event monitor Event monitor (RPU_PAYBR_EFD_MONITOR), that cannot be used simultaneously with an external cockpit in the system. If you want to use an external cockpit, it is no longer possible to use the report RPU_PAYBR_EFD_MONITOR.

Change the option eSocial: Use of external cockpit (EFDEX) according to your company’s needs. The possible values for the option are the following:

• 0 - Not activate use of external cockpit

The system only allows the use of the report RPU_PAYBR_EFD_MONITOR.

• 1 - Activate use of external cockpit

The system only allows the use of the external cockpit.

NOTE

With value 1, it is necessary to update the status of events sent by the eSocial through external systems. The function module HRPAYBR_EFD_SET_NEW_STATUS is available for this purpose and you can access it via RFC. Update the status of the events as described on the function module documentation so that the control of changes, exclusions and corrections works successfully in the generation of events.

Furthermore, with value, all events are generated with status Ready to send. For more information, see the customizing activity Change initial status of the events.

• 2 - Activate use of external cockpit - TDF

With the value 2, the system allows the use of the eSocial cockpit in the application SAP Tax Declaration Framework for Brazil, option eSocial (SAP TDF eSocial).

NOTE

With the value 2, you must activate the sending of the events for the SAP TDF eSocial in the BAdI: eSocial - Sending of events to SAP TDF.

Furthermore, with value 2, all events are generated with status Ready to send.
