SAP E-Book

Each eSocial event has a specific deadline of transmission to the responsible entities. In this customizing activity, you set your own rules for the deadline calculation of eSocial event transmission. The rules set here must be associated subsequently to the types of events registered in the system.

You have performed the customizing activity Determine calendar for event transmission deadline. The calendar that you determine will be used in this customizing activity as parameter to check whether the day is a working day when you select the Working days field.

SAP delivers standard rules that are associated to the events in the customizing activity Set event types, activity Check standard entries, field Deadline rule code.

  1. Fill in the code and name that identify the rule.
  2. Create the rule by filling in the fields Rule type, Field used in the calculation, No.days and Working days.
If these fields are not enough, you can create your own rule and use it in field Rule class. Consider that if you fill in this field, the system does not consider the other fields on the table.
  1. Associate the rule to an event type by filling in the field Deadline rule code in the customizing activity Set event types, activity Set event types. This overwrites the standard rules of the activity Check standard entries.
  • You need one rule to send an event type on the tenth calendar day of the month after the event date. Fill in the table as follows:
Rule type Field used in the calculation No.days Working days
Next month Event start date 10

  • You need one rule to send an event type three days before the employee hiring date. Fill in the table as follows:
