In the eSocial event regarding temporary absence, if two or more absences have the same reason and they are subsequent, they must be sent as an unique event. However, the system uses other criteria to merge the events, including the code in International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems table - ICD.

In this customizing activity, you specify whether the system should take into account the ICD table code to group two events.

You filled in the absence code in the ICD table by using the BAdI: eSocial - Temporary absence.

In the extraction of the temporary absence event, the system merges two separated events if all conditions below are applied:

  • The events are generated from entries in the infotype Absences (2001).
However, consider that the system continues to generate temporary absence events from the entries in the infotypes Personnel actions(0000) and Presences(2002).
  • The events are subsequent, that is, the second starts one day after the ending of the first.
  • The events have the same absence reason.
  • The events have the same code in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems table - ICD.
The system considers only the first three characters of the code in the ICD table to perform the comparison. Besides, if none of the events has the code, they are considered as different events.
  1. Change the option ESOCIAL: USE ICD TO MERGE ABSENCES (EFDAC) aacording to the values below:
  • 1: Consider the ICD

  • 2: Disregard the ICD

By default, the system considers the ICD (value 1).
If you change the option to the value 2, the system continues to merge the events based on all criteria described above, except the criterion related to the ICD table code.
  1. Save your entries.
