PAY_BR_EFD60 - Close one company code in the eSocial national environment

The company closing is an expected scenario for the information event of the employer/taxpayer/public entity. According to the eSocial Managing Committee guidelines, one way of closing the company code is to send the employee information event with the new validity and situation of the terminated company, which implies the validity end of the previous event - and also the validity end of the tables associated to the previous event.

In this customizing activity, you close a company code in the eSocial national environment by creating new entries in the Branch - General information view (V_T7BRB1).

1. Access the customizing activity Maintain information on branches (V_T7BRB1 view).
2. Create a new entry for the company code that you want to close.
3. Fill in the PJ field with the value 1 – Extinction.
4. Delimit the entry date according to the company code closing date.
5. Save your entries.
6. After you fill in the customizing activity, a new information event of the employer is generated with the extinction information. Send the new event to the eSocial national environment.

Your company code will be closed in the government records.
