When a public servant joins the public service, he or she is hired by a public sector agency. He or she is linked administratively to that public sector agency, and this is called allocation (“lotação”, in Portuguese).

The public servant's position may change later, if he or she is transferred internally (within the same agency) or externally (to a different agency). He or she may also occupy a position of trust. However, at any time you may need to check and report the public servant’s allocation data.

To display the allocation data in the Organizational Assignment (0001) infotype, the system reads the relationship records of the public servant in the Relationships (1001) infotype. In the system, you can create and edit numerous relationship records for a single object. An object 'P' (Person) can be related to several objects 'S' (Position).

In this Customizing activity, you determine which relationship shall be considered as allocation relationship.

You have created relationships in your system. For more information, see the following Customizing activities:

Execute this Customizing activity and maintain the feature Allocation relationship ( 37UAL) according to your needs.
