PAY_BR_PS_CB_006 - Christmas Bonus Over Position of Trust - Overview

When a public servant occupies a position of trust, he or she is entitled to receive an additional Christmas bonus corresponding to that position of trust. Therefore, for each month the public servant may be entitled to receive two fractions of Christmas bonus, for example as follows:

• Christmas bonus over basic pay - 1/12 (one twelfth) per month

• Christmas bonus over position of trust - 1/12 (one twelfth) per month

In the standard system, the calculation is performed by the payroll function Christmas Bonus Over Position of Trust (BRPTU). The payroll function only calculates the Christmas bonus if you have assigned a position of trust to the public servant and made the required settings in Customizing, as detailed below:

Required master data

• Create a record in the Actions(0000) infotype, with subtype BK (Ass new pos. of trust payment)

• Create a record in the Wage Maintenance(0052) infotype, with subtype 3700 (Position of Trust (Brazil))
