PAY_BR_PS_IND_INT_01 - Indexation and interest calculation: Overview

In the Customizing activities under this section, you make settings for indexation and interest calculation in payroll.
- Example
- An over- or underpayment is identified in the payroll process, and the amount needs to be adjusted in line with inflation, according to a price index - this process is called indexation. You also need to calculate interests on the amount.
To be able to use this solution to automatically calculate indexation and interests in your payroll process, execute the subsequent activities as follows:
- Create index or interest (edits table view V_T7799B_INT01)
- Maintain rates (edits table view V_T7799B_INT02)
- Maintain calculation methods (edits table view V_T7799B_INT03)
- Please note that, as a prerequisite for this activity, you must have implemented interface IF_HR99B_INT_CALCULATION in transaction Class Builder (SE24).
- Define indexation or interest calculation (edits table view V_T7799B_INT04)
