PAY_BR_PS_SL000 - Define absence attributes for special leave entitlement generation

In this step of the IMG, you assign the following absence attributes for the legal leave entitlement generation:

• Selection field "Reduc.": allows you to decide if a given absence will decrease the legal leave entitlement of a leave entitlement period.

• Selection field "Extd.": allows you to decide if a given absence will increase the leave entitlement period (e.g. due to a absence for military service).

• Selection field "Create": allows you to decide that, in case of given absences or employees that are in the company for less than a year, the leave entitlement period ends a day before the absence period starts. This iimplies that the beginning of the new entitlement period occurs on the first day of absence.

• Field "Grpg.": in this field you can specify an absence grouping for the loss of the legal leave entitlement. The grouping is created in the IMG step: Payroll accounting Brazil -> Legal leave entitlement generation -> Definition of absence grouping for loss of legal leave entitlement.The absences belonging to the same grouping are always considered as a whole.

• Field "Calendar days": the absences that are partially remunerated by the social security institurion may be divided into two absences, namely the employer's part and the part paid by the SS institution; or they may be entered as a single absence.

If you choose a single absence, it will be possible to calculate, through this field, the social security part for the legal leave entitlement generation.
