SAP E-Book

In this step, you define the vacation pay and record of employment data to be transferred for each employee.

The TabType field determines whether the data entered refers to vacation pay or record of employment. The following table types are available:

  • VC1 = Vacation pay accrual
  • VC2 = Tracking of vacation payments (still in development)
  • ROE = Record of employment

Vacation pay accrual (table type VC1)

  1. Enter the employee number, sequence number, table type VC1, the period parameter, payroll year and payroll period.
  2. Leave the Number 1, 2 and 3 fields blank as they have no meaning for table type VC1 and no data is transferred.
  3. In the Amount 1 field, enter the employee's vacationable earnings. This number serves as a basis for vacation pay accrual.
  4. In the Amount 2 field, enter the employee's balance of vacation pay according to the percentage set by law.
  5. In the Amount 3 field, enter the employee's balance of vacation pay according to the percentage set by your company.
  6. Maintain the table for record of employment (see procedure below).

Record of employment (table type ROE)

  1. Enter the employee number, sequence number, table type ROE, the period parameter, payroll year and payroll period.
  2. In the Number 1 field, enter the employee's EI cumulated hours.
  3. Leave the Number 2 and 3 fields blank as they have no meaning for table type ROE and no data is transferred.
  4. In the Amount 1 field, enter the employee's EI cumulated earnings.
  5. Leave the Amount 2 and 3 fields blank as they have no meaning for table type ROE and no data is transferred.
  6. Save your entries.
