PAY_CH_ELM40_0206 - Edit Municipality Numbers and Postcodes

In this Customizing activity, you can process municipality numbers and postcodes.

The system uses this data to validate the workplace addresses for the work center payroll units.

You can import the municipality numbers and postcodes with the program Import Municipality Codes (BFS) and Postcodes.

If changes or additions are required, you can change existing entries or add new entries. For new entries, you require a unique classification number from Swiss Post. If this is not available, enter a dummy number in the Swiss Post Class.No. field.

The municipality numbers must be entered without leading zeros.
