PAY_CH_ELM40_0320 - Activate Fee Calculation

You use this Customizing activity to activate the subapplication Fee for Withholding Tax (QPR1).

If the subapplication is activated, the WHT return takes the payment fee for the withholding tax from the payroll result as of ELM 4.0. Otherwise the system cannot determine the fee for the WHT return as of ELM 4.0.

As of ELM 4.0, you must activate subapplication QPR1.

Create a new entry or adjust the validity start of subapplication QPR1 if you have not yet activated the calculation of the fee in payroll.

Otherwise, this step is not relevant to you.

If you are activating the calculation of the fee for ELM for the first time, we recommend choosing the start of the year in which you introduce ELM 4.0 as the validity start.
