PAY_CH_ELM_0600 - Change Payroll Unit Grouping for Enterprise

In this Customizing activity, you can define which payroll units belong to an enterprise. You also specify to which institution or to which final recipient the wage data of the payroll unit is sent.

You create the wage notification for an enterprise and for a year and send it to various institutions or final recipients.

You have defined all payroll units and features of the application key that are relevant for the wage notification in the system.

You have created the internal institution IDs (view T5C52) and enterprise(s) (view T5CSL) in the previous steps.

The SAP template settings (client 000) support the following relationships between payroll unit and institution or final recipient:

• A 1:1 relationship between payroll unit and institution ID

• A 1:1 relationship between internal institution ID and external institution ID

Note:For withholding tax, only one payroll unit may be assigned to an institution or a final recipient (see Configure WHT Return Payroll Unit). In principle, you can assign multiple payroll units for application keys that do not have a results query; however, this is not recommended.

Execute the activity and create the entries you require.

To avoid errors when creating the entries, you can use the following examples as a guide.

Example of a correct assignment
(in accordance with the 1:1 relationships between payroll unit and internal/external institution ID mentioned above)

The application key corresponds to the term domain from the standard for wage data processing and transfer (www.swissdec.ch).
